These are friendly, mixed ability classes for all ages. Beginners and the more experienced are all equally welcome to learn and benefit from the advice and tuition available.

Upholstery Group Members have access to workshop facilities suitable for the repair and renovation of traditionally upholstered furniture under the guidance and supervision of a qualified teacher with over 30 years experience in all types of traditional and modern upholstery and chair caning.

Members work at their own pace on whatever kind of chairs, settees or stools etc., they bring to classes to renovate.

There is storage space for work in progress which is too big to take home between classes.
